So, I don't.
Instead, I created a simple system that I can rinse & repeat each time I launch a new series (not just a book, but I'll get to that in a minute).
My "process" is very simple:
I publish a book to Amazon (and a different series via Draft2Digital)
I strategically set up pre-orders on other books in every series.
I align any (cheap) ads to go live when my books do. Then I book a few really low-cost spots.
I activate my review system a few weeks before a new book goes live (really easy, I promise).
I snag a few low-cost ad spots in genre-specific newsletters.
I start to see sales RIGHT AWAY. I then move onto the next book.
That's as much as I do and honestly, it's as much I'd ever want to do these days.
I gave up Facebook ads long ago. I quit AMS as well.
I don't even have a TikTok or Instagram account.
I use Facebook only for my own groups.
And I have no plans of ever changing that.
